MINNEAPOLIS, MN

The Lacek Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of a SAS 70 Type II audit, reflecting the agency’s exceptional commitment to providing high-level security surrounding all aspects of proprietary client data.

The SAS (Statement on Auditing Standards) 70 audit, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), provides assurances that service organizations undergoing the audit have been through an in-depth analysis of their data control objectives and activities.

“In loyalty and direct marketing, customer data is at the center of program measurement, campaign optimization, and predictive analytics,” said Dan Knudsen, Managing Director, Client Services at The Lacek Group. “Completing the SAS 70 audit gives existing and prospective clients peace of mind that we have optimized controls in place that offer maximum security, confidentiality and protection.”

The Lacek Group is a specialty agency of Ogilvy & Mather, and is the first organization under the O & M umbrella to complete a SAS 70 audit. This achievement gives the agency a competitive advantage over most other marketing agencies that lay claim to the loyalty marketing space.

Based in Minneapolis, The Lacek Group is a data-driven interactive and direct marketing agency that designs and manages customer loyalty marketing initiatives. Clients include Starwood Hotels & Resorts (Starwood Preferred Guest), Continental Airlines (OnePass), Ford Motor Company (Owner Advantage Rewards) and National Car Rental (Emerald Club).
