Director, Strategic Services – Loyalty and Customer Engagement

As a Director in the customer engagement function of our Strategic Services team, you will be contributing to the development of customer marketing strategy on behalf of TLG’s clients and leading loyalty and customer engagement projects. In leveraging your deep understanding of clients and industries, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic input and recommendations for the team. You will also enjoy building robust client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
•     Work directly with clients to understand business needs and direction for strategic projects. Identify and recommend new strategic projects or white space opportunities
•     Develop strategic frameworks and recommendations for customer engagement within existing loyalty programs, and for new loyalty strategies
•     Lead the strategic development of omni-channel communications planning, integrating the latest trends in digital marketing, data-driven marketing, personalization, social and gamification
•     Collaborate with client services, analytics, campaign operations and creative teams to support the strategy, execution and measurement of programs and campaigns, and to leverage data to guide strategy formulation
•     Support new business development with strategic insights, concept generation, customer research and case study development
•     Contribute to TLG thought leadership in the loyalty and customer engagement space
•     Maintain excellent familiarity with the loyalty and customer engagement space

Qualifications
•     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field
•     8+ years of relevant marketing experience. Marketing experience in travel and hospitality ideal
•     Deep experience with loyalty programs, customer engagement, customer analysis, business metrics, program and promotional tracking & evaluation required
•     Strong strategy skills in leveraging digital marketing, data-driven marketing, social, gamification
•     Able to build deep client and industry knowledge, and identify trends, gaps and opportunities from data and client/industry information
•     Agency experience is preferred, but strategic client-side experience will also be considered
•     Able to lead marketing projects and work independently on promotional and tactical planning
•     Good listener with demonstrated experience building positive client relationships
•     Strong storytelling and presentation development skills
•     Comfortable with ambiguity; able to change direction when required by client or project needs
•     Up to 25% travel
