The Lacek Group wins Silver ECHO Award with Carnival Cruise Lines

The Lacek Group (TLG), a Minneapolis-based customer engagement agency, and Carnival Cruise Lines were recognized with a Silver ECHO award at the 2014 DMA (Direct Marketing Association) International ECHO Awards .

Held on October 28, 2014, in San Diego, the international awards competition honored excellence in creativity, marketing strategy, and response results in data-driven marketing campaigns from the U.S and more than 50 countries. Gold, Silver, and Bronze ECHO winners are selected from thousands of entries.

TLG received the Silver ECHO Award in the “Travel & Hospitality/Transportation” category for the agency’s first comprehensive customer-engagement effort with Carnival titled the “Carnival Cruise Lines Wave Campaign.” Created to generate early cruise season bookings, the “Wave” campaign featured highly personalized messaging and imagery, appealing to Carnival’s past guests through thousands of unique direct mail and email communications.

The ECHOs – the world’s top advertising and marketing competition solely dedicated to data-driven marketing – were first established in 1929, originally focused on direct mail.
